On September 27^th, 1981 Eagles Greg Brown had a 7-yard fumble recovery for a TD in a 36-13 win over the Washington Redskins. 

On September 27^th, 2015, Eagles Darren Sproles had an 89-yard punt return for a TD vs New York Jets. It’s the 2nd longest in team history (Damaris Johnson 98yds).

On September 27^th, 2009, Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins hit his 21^st homer of the season off Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Dave Bush, in a 6-5 Phillies win.  The lead-off homer was the 217^th  home run of the season for the Phillies, breaking their 2006 team-record of 216.  Second baseman Miguel Cairo hit a 4^th inning homer on the last day of the season, a 7-6 win over the Florida Marlins (10/4/2009) giving the Phillies their current team-record of 224 home runs in a season.  It was the only HR Miguel Cairo ever hit for the Phils.
