On November 19th, 1978, Eagles Herman Edwards returned a 26-yard Joe Pisarcik fumble for a TD in the game’s waning moments giving the Birds a 19-17 come from behind win over the New York Giants. The play, known as The Miracle of the Meadowlands changed the way NFL teams run out the clock to ensure wins. 

On This Date…

On November 15th, 2010 the Eagles scored a team-record 45 1st-half points on their way to a 59-28 win over the Washington Redskins. The combined score of 87 points for the game tied a team record.

On November 15th, 2004 vs Dallas Cowboys, Eagles Lito Sheppard had a 101-yard INT TD return in the closing minutes of a 49-21 Eagles victory.  

On This Date…

On November 14, 1965, Eagles TE Pete Retzlaff had 204 receiving yards vs. Washington Redskins. It was just the 2nd time an Eagles receiver had 200+ yards receiving in a single game (Tommy McDonald). The 204 yards receiving is still currently the 4th highest game total in team history.
