On November 12th, 1979, vs Dallas Cowboys, Eagles barefoot kicker Tony Franklin kicked a 59-yard FG. At the time, it was 4th longest in NFL history. 

On November 12th, 1972, Eagles kicker Tom Dempsey kicked a team-record 6 FGs vs Houston Oilers.  

On This Date…

On November 6th, 1934 the Eagles defeated the Cincinnati Reds 64-0. It’s the most points in a game for the Eagles and their largest margin of victory in team history.

On November 6th, 1966 vs Dallas Cowboys, Eagles Timmy Brown had a record 2 kickoff return TDs, a 93 yarder, and a 90 yarder.

On November 3rd, 1996 vs Dallas Cowboys in Dallas, in the game’s closing seconds, Eagles James Willis intercepted a Troy Aikman pass four yards deep in the end zone, ran it out to the 10 yard line and tossed a lateral to teammate Troy Vincent who ran 90 yards for the TD to preserve the win. The 104-yard TD is the longest INT in team history.

On November 3rd, 2011 Flyers Max Talbot scored on a penalty shot against Johan Hedberg and the New Jersey Devils. Talbot is the only Flyer to score a penalty shot vs New Jersey Devils in 7 penalty shot attempts.

On November 3rd, 2013 in a 49-20 win over the Oakland Raiders, Eagles QB Nick Foles catapulted himself into the record books with a stellar 7 TD performance.  Of the 8 QB’s who have thrown for 7 TD’s in a game, Foles is the only player in NFL history to do so with a perfect passer rating of 158.3. He had more TD’s than incompletions in that game.  Eagles Connor Barwin nabbed his first and only career interception in the game.
