On October 18th, 1984, the Flyers scored 13 goals on the Vancouver Canucks in a 13-2 win.  It was their 2nd 13-goal game of the 1984 calendar year and the only two in team history. 

On October 18th, 1998, during his first season with the Eagles, Hugh Douglas had 4.5 sacks against the San Diego Chargers, tying the Eagles record.

On October 18th, 1967, the Flyers defeated the St. Louis Blues 2-1 for the 1st win in team history.

On This Date…

On October 17th, 1954, Eagles QB Adrian Burk became the 2nd NFL QB to throw for 7 TDs in a game, a 49-21 win over the Washington Redskins (Nick Foles became the 7th in 2013).  

On October 17th, 1954 Eagles kicker/receiver Bobby Walston scored 25 points in a 49-21 win over the Washington Redskins. Walston scored three TDs (18 points) and had 7 PATs (7 points).
