Tommy Greene – Phillies/P (1990-95) Tommy Greene was a hard-throwing pitcher that came to the Phillies in the Dale Murphy trade. On May 23^rd, 1991, Greene threw the 8^th no-hitter in Phillies history, a 2-0 win over the Montreal Expos.  It was just his 15^th MLB start. Greene finished 1993 tied with teammate Curt Schilling for team-leading 16 wins. Greene finished 6^th in Cy Young voting that season.  Greene started game 4 of the 1993 World Series vs. Toronto Blue Jays. He left the game with a 6-5 lead in a no-decision as the Phillies lost 15-14. Greene’s career was cut short by chronic shoulder issues.
