On October 20^th, 1996 vs. Miami Dolphins, Eagles WR Irving Fryar had a team record-tying 4 TD catches.   He is the oldest NFL player to have 4 TD catches in one game. 

On October 20^th, 1993 the Phillies lost game 4 of the 1993 World Series to the Toronto Blue Jays 15-14. The 29 total runs scored are the most for a World Series game in MLB history.

October 19^th, 1967, the Flyers celebrated their debut home game with a 1-0 shutout over the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins.
