On January 25^th, 1981, the Eagles made their first Super Bowl appearance losing to the Oakland Raiders 27-10 in Super Bowl XV.   

On January 25^th, 1981, Eagle tight end Keith Krepfle caught the Eagle’s very first Super Bowl TD, an 8-yard catch from Ron Jaworski in Super Bowl XV.
