Phillies 2009 NLCS game 4 hero Matt Stairs hit the last home run called by Phillies legendary play-by-play announcer Harry Kalas. Stairs hit a game-winning pinch-hit homer in the top of the 9th on April 12th, 2009 in a Phillies 7-5 win over the Colorado Rockies. Harry Kalas passed away the next day.

On April 11th, 2018, in a playoff game vs Pittsburgh Penguins, Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov took a shot from the top of the face-off circle that hit Penguins defenseman Kris Letang in the skate, and broke the puck in half. 

Flyers goalie Ron Hextall became the only NHL goalie to score into the opponent’s net twice when he scored his second career goal against the Washington Capitals on April 11th, 1989 in an 8-5 playoff win.

On April 11th, 2004, Flyers goalie Antero Niittymaki scored an AHL game-winning, empty-net, shorthanded goal for the Phantoms for a 3-2 overtime win over the Hershey Bears.   It’s the only overtime goal by a goalie in North American pro hockey, and came 15 years to the day of Flyers goalie Ron Hextall’s playoff goal.
