On April 4^th, 1968 the Flyers played their 1^st playoff game in team history, a 1-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues.

On April 3^rd, 1980, Flyers sniper Reggie Leach became the only Flyer to score his 50^th goal of a season into an open net, doing so vs. Washington Capitals.

On April 1^st, 1970, vs Milwaukee Bucks, Sixers Billy Cunningham became the first Sixer to score 50 points in a post-season game.

Wayne Simmonds was once credited for scoring a goal that deflected off his forehead and into the net off a Brayden Schenn shot on March 30^th, 2012 vs. Ottawa Senators.

Phillies legendary announcer Harry Kalas was born on March 26, 1936 in Naperville, Illinois. He was the Phillies play-by-play announcer from 1971 until his death on April 13^th, 2009.  Kalas was preparing for the Phillies-Nationals game in Washington that evening when he collapsed in the booth. He died shortly thereafter.

The Flyers scored a team-record 13 goals in a 13-4 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 22^nd, 1984.

On March 20^th, 2018, Couturier scored his 100^th NHL goal vs Detroit Red Wings on the power play. The tally also gave him his 1^st 30-goal season.
